Donation Refunds
Hargun Foundation reviews donation refund requests to ensure they are handled fairly and transparently. Please check your donation details before making a payment. We understand that mistakes can happen or that donors may change their minds.
This policy applies only to donations made without a designated purpose (non-earmarked donations). We review each request individually and may ask for the reason, proof of payment, or information to verify the donor’s identity. A refund is subject to review and may be declined, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has already been issued for the donation.
How to Request a Refund
Send your request in writing or by email using the contact details below. Include the donation date, amount, payment method, reason for the request, and the transaction or receipt reference if available.
We must receive your request within 7 days of the applicable date:
- For online or other electronic payments, the date you made the donation.
- For a cheque or demand draft delivered in person, the date you handed it to Hargun Foundation or its authorised representative.
- For a cheque or demand draft sent by post or courier, the date you dispatched it.
